This initiative, funded by the Ruth Titilayo Foundation, offers full tuition coverage and additional financial support to eligible students across various educational levels, including secondary school, undergraduate, postgraduate, and vocational studies within Nigerian institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the 2026 RTEF Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be currently enrolled in secondary school, vocational and technical institutions, polytechnics, or universities at undergraduate or postgraduate levels
- Be under the age of 25
- Possess a strong academic record
- Demonstrate commitment to education and personal growth
- Submit a complete application before the deadline of October 31, 2025
Final-year undergraduate students are also eligible to apply.
Scholarship Coverage
The RTEF Scholarship provides comprehensive financial support, including:
- Tuition allowance of up to ₦100,000
- Maintenance allowance of up to ₦20,000
- Additional allowances for internal travel, research, and fieldwork expenses, subject to committee approval
This financial assistance is intended to ensure that recipients can focus fully on their academic pursuits without the distraction of financial hardship.
